Hello from the WPC Business Club.
We just left a great meeting with Rod Johanson where we were discussing how to better support WPC students with their preparation for their work lives. The business club feels this is its mission. In our logo you see the three words, information, preparation, and aggragation.
Our intention is to provide WPC students, both traditional and ADP, with current information about the business world. We intend on accomplishing this through this website, a series of meetings throughout the school year, and smaller workshops and communities of practice. We feel this will help better prepare the student for their future careers. It doesn't matter if it is a not-for-profit or for profit career the information we are providing is still relevant.
Organizations are made up of distinct individuals that are working toether to provide a service to a customer or client, and the business club wants the students to have a holistic view of business which will help them make better decisions about their future.
